These pages are static documents. There are no accounts, no forms, no comment fields and no search that reaches a server. Reading this edition requires nothing from a reader and leaves nothing behind that the editors can see.

Nothing is stored in a reader's browser by this edition. No cookie is set, no identifier is written, no counter runs and no analytics service is loaded on any page. Because no measurement is taken, no profile of any reader exists, and there is no record of which chapters were opened or in what order.

No personal data is gathered through these pages, which means there is none to sell, share, transfer or lose. The one exception is correspondence: a letter sent to the address on the contact page reaches the editors as a letter, is kept while it is being answered, and is not passed on or added to any list.

Typefaces are requested from a font service, which is the only outside request any page makes; nothing else is fetched from elsewhere.
